What are Canadian Postal Rates for the year 2010?
These rates go into effect January 11th 2010

Air mail is the only service offered for Letter Mail from Canada to all overseas countries even
VP6 and ZD7 & VP9.

Effective the !st of July 2010 Our sales tax structure was altered and the
provincial sales tax of 5% and federal sales tax of 8% were
combined into the harmonized sales tax of 13%. Postage is now taxed at 13%.

The rate is $1.70 plus 13% tax for a total of $1.92 for 30 grams
one green stamp ($1.00 US Dollar) is now worth only $1.03 Canadian
so, 1 green stamp is no longer sufficient for return postage from Canada

Air Mail to the USA is $1.00 plus 13% tax
for a total of $1.13 for 30 grams
one green stamps is now worth only $1.03 Canadian

Air Mail inside Canada is $0.57 plus 13% tax
for a total of $0.63 for 30 grams

There is no Sea or Surface Letter Mail service from Canada to anywhere in the world including VP6, ZD7 & ZD9.
