Fonthill is located just 15 minutes west of the Horseshoe Falls, right in the center of the Niagara Peninsula and on top of the Niagara Escarpment at an elevation of 750 feet above sea level. The Niagara Peninsula lies between Lakes Ontario to the North and Lake Erie to the south along the Niagara Frontier with New York State. This area is famous for its orchards and vineyards and is a beautiful rural area, just over an hours drive from the big cities of Toronto Ontario and Buffalo New York. The area was amongst the earliest to be settle in Ontario, with many historic sites to be seen and visited.
