FIRST GENERATION

1. John Waldron⁽¹⁾ was born in 1779. He died on 12 Jun 1847 in East Clifton, Compton County, Quebec. He was buried in Eaton Cemetery, Compton County, Quebec. notes from Mildred Waldron;

John arrive from Lunenburg, VT USA in 1802, John's family was originally from England. Married in Congregational Church Lancaster NH by Rev Joseph Willard, dec 29 1800, They lived in Lunenburgh VT until 1802 when they moved to Clifton Township in Quebec, the wecond family to settle in this township. John died at age 68 while carrying a bog of flour home from the mill on his shoulder. His wife died at age 74 in Clifton. Both are buried in the Eaton Cemetery, Compton County, Quebec. The Clifton Cemetery had not opened at the time of their death, it was later opened on a corner of their farm.

He was married to Submit Taylor on 29 Dec 1800 in Congretional Church, Lancaster, NH USA. Notes from Midlred Waldron;

In the year 1899 there were still four of these Waldron's living. James 89 years living in East Clifton, Martha 85 years living in Martinville, Thomas 81 years, living in East Clifton, Rev Issac 87 years living in Minnesota, Mitty in Flanders and Ann in Sawyerville.

There three sets of twins, of which two survived and practically no twins among the descendants. Submit Taylor ⁽¹⁾ was born in 1778. She died on 28 Mar 1852 in East Clifton, Compton County, Quebec. She was buried in Eaton Cemetery, Compton County, Quebec. John Waldron and Submit Taylor had the following children:

He died while attending school in Boston and the body was not returned to Canada.
