I have never had any children of my own, but my first husband and I took two little boys. The oldest one, Clarence Herbert Matthews, was my husband's nephew. His daddy was accidentally killed by a train and left his wife with 5 little ones. We took Clarence before he was 5 years old. He is now married and living in Toronto.

She was married to Dalby Stephen Orr (son of Samuel Orr and Mary ?) on 3 Dec 1929 in Verdun, Quebec. Dalby Stephen Orr was born on 24 Aug 1896 in South Dudswell, Quebec. Merinda Jane Morrison and Dalby Stephen Orr had the following children:

Then Mr. Orr and I took little Edgar in December 1938, so he is the only one we have with us now. His mother was my own cousin. She died and left 9 little children, so we took Edgar. He will be 13 in March 1946. He is a fine healthy boy, going to East Angus high school. We live on a farm about 4 miles from the village. Edgar is a twin. My sister Mary has his twin sister, Evelyn, and my sister Edith has a brother. My cousin, Elsie (Edgar's own mother) had two sets of twins, two girls, Margaret and Elizabeth, and Edgar and Evelyn . . ..
