PBBDB Henry Morrison, born December 22, 1859 at the Glen, Louisa, QC. At
Lachute on March 26, 1884 he married Catherine Tomalty of Louisa, QC, where she
was born April 14, 1864 to Liza Curran and Arthur Tomalty. They always lived
in their birthplace, R.R. #1, Dunany, QC, where they farmed. She died March
2, 1928, and Henry in the Montreal General Hospital, October 14, 1942. Both
are buried in the Louisa cemetery. They had 12 children, 3 dying as infants.
Henry farmed in The Glen, adjoining his father's farm. In the winters he did
extensive lumbering from bush lots close by and sold the lumber at Lachute, QC.
Henry Morrison's children's church memberships vary, according to one of his
children. Robert and Arthur are Presbyterians; Walter, Edith, Mary and Wilma
are Anglicans; Merinda belongs to the Church of God; and Wilfred is a Baptist.
Catherine Tomalty was born on 14 Apr 1864 in Louisa, Quebec. She
died on 2 Mar 1928 in Dunany, Quebec. She was buried in Louisa Cemetery, Louisa,
