2. William Montgomery was born on 5 Aug 1859 in Leeds. He died on 26 Sep 1926 in Parker Hill Randboro QC. He was buried in Eaton QC.

He was married to Ellen Hamilton (daughter of John Hamilton and Martha Adams) on 16 Feb 1888 in Sawyerville Methodist Church. Notes from Colin MacCallum;

Colin is a descended from Mary Jane Hamilton and Joseph Parker, he said that the home John occupied on Parker Hill belonged to his Father James before he died and was know in the district when he was growing up in the 1920's as the Hamilton farm. John owned the farm and sold it to Archie Jones, Colin MacCallum's father Charles McCallum and his wife Lottie (Parker) purchased the property in 1919 and lost it through foreclosure in 1934.

John moved into Randboro when he left the farm and acquired or built a home next to the United Methodist Church in Randboro (the church no longer exists) this home was later the home of Stillman Rand and in 1939 Colin's parents rented the house. Ernest McCallum Colin's brother purchsed the house in the late 40's or early 50's and lived there until the mid 1980's when they moved to Kingston.
