Pearl Mabel was born on August 14, 1921 on the family's third farm 1-1/2 miles west of Dunblane. She moved to Vancouver and married Bob Springhill on October 27, 1950 in Seattle, Washington, USA. They had two sons, James Jay born on October 30, 1953 and Dale Everet born on December 12, 1955. Bob died after a couple years of illness in 1976. Pearl lives in Lynnwood, Washington.
