184. James Arthur Montgomery was born on 18 Dec 1897. He died in Dec 1960.

Artie finished school at the end of grade VII. When he was 14 or 15, he went to Boston, Ma. with one of his mother's brothers. Apparently this uncle asked Dad to go, but he didn't want to so uncle Artie went. Here he eventually became a very successful shoe salesman. During WW I, he was in the navy.
