2. Hugh Hammond was born about 1792 in Co Monahagn Ireland. He died in 1830 in Quebec. It is believed he died shortly after arriving in Quebec. He may never have departed Gros Isle Quarantine station.

Hugh, I believe his full name was Matthew went missing in 1829 leaving a wife and 3 children. I think the children were Sarah, John, Henry R. Hugh Hammond had the following children:
