She was married to William Montgomery (son of William Montgomery and Margaret Wilson) on 16 Feb 1888 in Sawyerville Methodist Church.

 William Montgomery was born on 5 Aug 1859 in Leeds. He died on 26 Sep 1926 in Parker Hill Randboro QC. He was buried in Eaton QC. Ellen Hamilton and William Montgomery had the following children:
