He was married to 62 Nettie F Lake in about 1898 in Massachusetts USA She was born in Massachusetts in May 1870, Her parents are Wesley B Lake born abt 1832 in Nova Scotia and Julie A Lake born abt 1833 in Nova Scotia Canada They immigrated to East Boston MA USA in 1866. Notes from Garth Hamilton Frank's wife's name is not mentioned in the notes from Grandma Fanny (Carr) Hamilton or my Mother Phyllis Hamilton. There is no marker and no mention of his location in the Cemetery plot locations. We have no death date for him either. He is named on the stone placed on the family plot by Don Wallace in 2005 when the city removed broken family plot borders and markers which were becoming illegible due to weathering and in line with their policy to repair damaged plots. We made a break through in May 2007 on Mother's Day weekend when we found a census record for 1900 from Massachusetts USA showing Frank living in East Boston 81 Garfield St Chelsea City where he was working as a teamster. He is present with his widowed Mother in law Julia A Lake and his sister Effie M Hamilton and their first daughter Alice M. Frank arrived in the USA in 1896 and married Nelle F Lake between then and 1899 when his second child is born. In the census it states that Nellie has had 2 children of which only 1 is living. There are also 2 boarders in the house. Dominion Land Grants show, Francis Samuel James Hamilton, Frank being granted sw quarter of section 21 in township 41 range 25 west meridian 3 near Rutland Saskatchewan which is WNW of Unity Saskatchewan. He is shown in the 1911 Census as living on this property with his wife and 3 children and that his wife and children immigrated to Canada in 1907. I suspect that he would have been in Sidney MB for a few years before arriving in Unity in time for the census in 1911. His brothers Justin and Hugh as also in Unity and District for the 1911 census as well as Matthew and Irene. Effie and Frank Stanley are still running the store in Sidney MB in 1911. Harriett and George Greenlay I am not sure where they are at this point in time. Francis S. J. Hamilton and Nettie F Lake had the following children:
