Descendants of
William Gordon
This is the line of my Great Great Aunt, Nancy Elizabeth Hamilton, known as ELiza, married the son of William Gordon Sr, William Gordon Jr. who was a shoe maker and had settled in the Gore of Two Mountains, which is now Gore Township, Argenteuil County, Quebec, close to Lachute and the Ottawa River. The Village of Lakefield is the where the Gore Township Offices are located today. They moved to the Eastern Townships, East Clifton (today called Clifton de St. Isadore) where descendants of this family can still be found.
